They--Israeli politicians and spokespersons are always so sure of their rightness and clarity, when addressing the rest of the world on their political affairs with Arab and Moslem neighbours. Left to their own company and devices, they might easily destroy themselves--meanwhile we can be entertained by their kaleidoscope of Machiavellian intrigues--may they remain in perpetuity! Hamas does not recognise Israel. Which Israel--the 1948 Israel--or the expanded, territory-stealing Israel of 1967 to the present? What country of any integrity would recognise an occupying enemy? Hamas was elected in 2006 by the majority of all Palestinians. What right had Israel and the western powers to impose sanctions? The "chutzpah" (shamelessness) of Jewish political audacity is spreading beyond the bounds of international justice. The whole international political system is becoming frighteningly Orwellian, when one must watch helplessly, while a major nuclear power obliterates a small and helpless population and its land. I'm shocked by the lack of Israeli perspective in western news. There have been over 1500 rockets and mortars fired from Gaza into Israel even during the "cease fire." Once that cease fire expired the rockets increased getting further and further into Israel. The world hasn't said a word about this continual terror attack, but when a Israelis are killed earlier today from a Gazan rocket, the IDF says enough is enough and attacks. But the world cries foul saying let Israelis die and not defend themselves. Such hypocrisy!! Rockets continue to fall into Israel even now and the world still says, "stop!" What do they want?? Do they want Israel to burn to the ground? Do they want Tel Aviv to quake under the rain of rockets like southern Israel has for the past year?? The world wants peace only when a hard line Islamic party that is known for brutally murdering any one who stands in its way is in control.
